Job description

We are looking for an experienced NZ Mortgage Loan Processor to support a growing New Zealand mortgage broking business. The successful candidate will work closely with mortgage advisers to manage loan applications, documentation, lender communication, and ongoing application requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the New Zealand mortgage process and is confident using Kiwi Adviser Network or similar mortgage CRM and loan processing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mortgage applications from initial preparation through to settlement

  • Assist advisers with preparing, packaging, and submitting loan applications

  • Review client information and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy

  • Collect, organise, and verify required borrower documentation

  • Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process

  • Monitor application progress and follow up on outstanding conditions and requirements

  • Maintain accurate client and loan information within the CRM

  • Update application notes, milestones, and pipeline statuses

  • Assist with lender requirements, loan approvals, and settlement coordination

  • Conduct documentation and compliance checks

  • Provide regular updates to advisers on application progress

  • Follow up with relevant parties to ensure applications progress within expected timeframes

  • Provide general administrative and processing support to mortgage advisers

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing

  • Previous experience supporting New Zealand mortgage advisers/brokers

  • Strong understanding of the NZ mortgage lending and loan application process

  • Hands-on experience using Kiwi Adviser Network

  • Experience with CRM and loan processing systems

  • Strong knowledge of loan documentation and application requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple applications and competing priorities

  • Strong follow-up and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
